intersection/reflection 2013 conversations with guests in which the artist’s inkjet-printed photographs are offered in exchange for their memories at Guest House Lit, Uno, Okayama size of the photographs: 297 x 210 mm each A work realized for an exhibition at a guest house in Uno, Okayama, which is a tourist spot. During the exhibition I stayed there and put on the wall various snap shots I took in the town and on nearby islands. Those who stayed in the guest house could take home a photo they liked, but in exchange, they had to tell me an interesting trip story of their own. It is a project of exchanging memories at a place where strangers meet.  |
